Businesses may co-mingle all recyclable materials, except glass, (all in one container) or have a separate container for cardboard.

Co-mingled recycling includes:

• plastic containers with a neck
• tin
• aluminum
• paper
• newspaper
• magazines
• cardboard

Glass is NOT allowed in the curbside service.

How to get started

1. First, walk around your property and identify a space for the recycling container. Next, estimate the volume of recyclable materials you may collect in one or two weeks.
2. Choose the program that best fits your needs by visiting our Commercial Service Fees page for a detailed list of container sizes, service frequencies and corresponding rates. If in doubt, call (509) 942-7490 to schedule a site review before making your final selection.
